Makro TZ Hydraulic Diaphragm Metering Pumps

The Makro/ TZ hydraulic diaphragm metering pump sets new standards for precision and reliable operation. This is achieved with great flexibility when it comes to performance management: A great variety of options is available for its operation, either one or two liquid ends and one or several add-on pumps which the customer can fit at a later stage.
Advantages
- High processing reliability: integrated alarm signal on diaphragm rupture with excess pressure recognition, even if membrane rupture occurs, the hydraulic fluid and dosing medium remain separated thanks to the latest diaphragm technology.
- High processing quality: Reproducibility of dosage better than ±-1 %
New applications: Clearly increased pressure level and dosing precision can be achieved with a diaphragm pump than ever before. - Broad field of application, easily adapted even by the customer because of its modular design.
Areas of application
- Dosing of reactants and catalysts in the chemical industry
- Time-controlled dosing of chemicals for ion exchange regeneration
- General application in industrial production technology, e.g. dosing of drilling emulsion fluids as an agent for machine tools in shaping and chipping applications.
Features
- Performance range for the single pump: 300-720 l/h / 16 bar up to 1204 l/h / 10 bar
- Supplied as a single or dual-headed version
- Push-pull operation of the liquid ends with dual head designs
- Can be easily upgraded to a triple pump and with reduced back pressure to more pumps even on the customer’s premises
- Independent of the main metering pump , other stroke counts can be achieved with the add-on pumps, as each TZ add-on pump has its own reducing gear
- Tried and tested power end with high versatility (4 reducing gears, variable speed control, actuator, etc.)
- Standard drive: dual wound three-phase motor 230/400 V, 50/60 Hz, 1.5 kW, enclosure class rated IP 55 (optional ATEX-T3/T4), insulation class F
- Worm gear in 5 optional reduction ratios as well as an adjustable crank drive via a gyrating cylinder
- Stroke length: 20 mm, can be set for 0.5% precision
- Stroke length setting: manual (optional with actuator or variable speed drive)
- Gear housing: cast iron, resistant to seawater, acrylic resin lacquer finish
- Liquid end materials: Polypropylene, PVC, PTFE with carbon, stainless steel 1.4571
- Patented multilayer diaphragm, even with diaphragm rupture hydraulic fluid and dosing chemical remain separated
- Virtually pressure-stable characteristic curve, similar to a plunger pump through a new concept for hydraulic power transmission on to the diaphragms
- Reproducibility of dosing better under defined conditions and correct installation ± -1 % (stroke length 10-100%)
- Integrated alarm signal with diaphragm rupture and excess pressure recognition
- Suction lift varies with density and viscosity of the medium as well as the connecting pipework and the number of strokes
